PLACE OF SALE FOR EXECUTION AGAINST PROPERTY SALE OF LANDS

8.1 (A) Due to the fact that the new Crawford County Justice Center has more room with more privacy, all future property sales of land on execution will take place at the facility. This change in the place of sales from the Crawford County Courthouse to the Crawford County Justice Center is being done to avoid the problem of trying to conduct a sale while people not interested in the sale are strolling through the halls on their business making it difficult for the Sheriff to hear bids and to see the bidder. At the Justice Center the only people present will be those required by law to be there and those interested in purchasing the subject property. Ohio Revised Code Section 2329.39 authorizes this when established by judgment entry which was filed July 23, 1998.
